The King James
Version of the Bible has been in print since the early 1600's.
Commissioned by King James I, it was made by 47 scholars who consulted
the existing Bishop's Bible. Greek and Hebrew texts were also viewed
for best results. A word-for-word translation, it has been the most
popular version throughout the English-speaking word for over 3
centruries.
